As two of Indiana's greatest treasures, French Lick Springs
Resort & Casino, and its sister property the West Baden
Springs Hotel, are undergoing a $382 million dollar
preservation and restoration. The French Lick Springs Resort &
Casino is truly a beautiful environment in which to relax and
enjoy nature and the surrounding grounds. The famous gazebo
housing the ever-popular mineral water springs resides amidst
lush gardens of colorful flowers and carefully trimmed greenery.
Bright, colorful flowers of the season welcome each guest to the
hotel. Walks around the hotel gardens will lead you past the
famous gazebo which houses the "Pluto" mineral water springs.
Each turn in the garden path reveals more color and a relaxing
atmosphere. Whether you are on your way to the tennis courts,
one of the golf courses, or just strolling, you can't help but enjoy
the serene surroundings. The gardens offer a beautiful, tranquil
setting....perfect for a romantic stroll, family nature walk, or just
to sit back & relax on one of the benches. Private events and
banquets can also be hosted throughout the grounds of the
resort. Wedding ceremonies, corporate picnics, cookouts....all
have a host of areas to choose from.

It's All About the Water! For over 200 years, the Pluto Mineral
Spring has drawn visitors to French Lick. The resort's legendary
success is largely in part to the mineral springs.
Today, French Lick Springs Resort rests on some 2,600 acres in
the breathtaking Hoosier National Forest. Acquired by
Benchmark Hospitality International, the resort eagerly
embraces a "New Beginning". The current facility includes 470
rooms and boasts two superb golf courses, the Valley Course
and the scenic, Donald Ross designed, Country Club Hill
Course. Badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, shuffleboard,
croquet, stables, and two swimming pools (including a spacious
bubble enclosed one) are other activities offered. Additionally,
excellent horses, tennis courts, mineral baths and massages await
the pleasure of guests.

On my second visit I stayed
at the Beechwood Inn, a
carefully restored mansion
from 1915 which is now a
bed & breakfast.
I met Scott S. the GM at the
bar for debriefing on a very
successful day at the
construction site. We agreed
to follow up the next
morning and then I would
head back to Nashville. The
rooms and ambiance were
fantastic and I am looking
forward to stay here again
with the family.

at the Beechwood Inn, a
carefully restored mansion
from 1915 which is now a
bed & breakfast.

April. And with the
Williamsburg opportunity
being gone (that was also the
trigger to decide to move on
Harrah’s), I now for the
first time learned about the
two resorts in French Lick,
Indiana. The expansion with
its upscale dining options
and banquet facilities would
build on a rich and colorful
history; included such
famous names as John
Barrymore, Clark Gable,
Bing Crosby, President
Roosevelt, The Trumans, and
The Reagans. All were
honored guests at the French
Lick Springs Resort. They
walked in the rose gardens,
they drank brandy on the
veranda, and they relaxed in
the mineral springs. French
Lick Springs Resort &
Casino will open in
November 2006 and will
feature spectacular amenities
